My First "Quick Draw" 1.5 hrs.

I did a quick draw with my Dad at the Moscow farmers market this weekend. It was kind of scary but fun. I think I did okay.

"Fisherman Gate"

Below is my latest metal project, my dad designed the gate from an old magazine advertisement, then I drew it on the metal, welded the frame together, and cut it out. I also stained it a gun metal blue color. Then a clear coat was added to prevent rust.

"Evening Eye"

This is a painting I did, My Dad took the photo, but I worked from it as reference and painted it. I have been learning to oil paint, and am starting to figure it out. I had a great time for my spring break on the Oregon Coast. My Dad and I got a few days of good weather, and painted on site around Newport, OR. I am enjoying learning to oil paint.
